Two former spokesmen of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential campaign Festus Kenyamo and Femi Fani Kayode have reacted to the just released 47 man ministerial nominee list.
The two staunch supporters who actively p in the Tinubu campaign have been exempted from the ministerial list for reasons best known to the President.
Immediate past Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Kenyamo who hails from Delta State did not make it to the Presidential list.
Festus who stood actively for the President in the campaign seemed like a good fit for a ministerial slot but may have lost that bid to the executive Director of NEXIM bank, Mrs Stella Okotete who also hails from Delta State.
An anonymous source revealed that the exclusion of the former minister from the lists is be linked to his internal rivalry with former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.
Festus has official reacted to the nominations of the new prospective Ministers, describing them as “excellent choices”
Also, former Minister of aviation, Femi Fani Kayode who served as spokesman in Tinubu’s Presidential campaign train seems left out in the grand scheme of things as he also failed to make it to the Ministerial list.
Femi who served as Minister of Aviation under Obasanjo’s administration also took to his official social media handles to congratulate the nominees, declaring that they are “excellent choices”
He also added that he was Minister 16 years ago and wishes his counterparts well in their new roles.
Tons of reactions from social media users, reveal that most social media users seem happy about this development.
Hope at the end of the tunnel for both men
There are also speculations that the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu may be reserving both Festus and FK for other juicy appointments in his cabinet in the coming days.
