Former spokesman to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has been officially welcomed back in to Nigeria by his former boss.
Reno Omokri who also served as Spokesperson to the presidential candidate of the people’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar had been on a self imposed exile since the inception of the Muhammadu Buhari led administration.
However, for the first time since 2015, Reno Omokri has returned to Nigeria, just two months after the exit of the former president.
The US based author and social media influencer paid a courtesy visit to his former principal, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan where he was warmly received with a bold handshake.
In the words of the former president, “Reno you are welcome to your country”
Reno made this known via his official Twitter handle where he posted a video of their meeting.
Reno had also earlier paid a courtesy call to the current National Security adviser, Nuhu Ribadu today August 8 2023.
