Owing to the economic challenges that came alongside the fuel subsidy removal policy by the Tinubu led administration, the Federal Government has announced palliative measure to ease the suffering of Nigerians.
The Federal Government has revealed that it will be giving a palliative amount of 5 billion naira per state in Nigeria, including the FCT as a measure to cushion the impact of the fuel subsidy removal policy.
Alongside, the President also approved 5 truck of rice each for states. This was revealed via the official Twitter handle of the National Television Authority.

Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno state, made the announcement in Abuja on Thursday when he spoke to State House correspondents at the end of a national economic council (NEC) meeting.
The NEC meeting was presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The council is made up of governors of the 36 states, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other coopted government officials.
