Following the assignment of portfolios, the new Ministers are set to be sworn in on Monday, 21 of August 2023 by the President.
The swearing in ceremony which will will be chaired by the president is scheduled to hold at the state house conference center, Presidential villa, Aso Rock.
This was contained in a statement relaeased by the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, through its Director of information, Willie Bassey.

Excerpts of the statement read, “The swearing-in ceremony by the President is as follows:
Date: Monday, August 21, 2023
Venue: State House Conference Centre,
Aso Villa, Abuja. Time: 10:00 AM
“Honourable Ministers to be sworn in are expected to come with two guests each.
“All Honourable Ministers and guests are to be seated by 9:00 am .”

Former of Zamfara state Bello Mattawalle will now become Minister of State, Defence.
Minister of Education, Tahir Maman and his deputy, Minister of State, Education, Yusuf Sununu
Minister of Housing &Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa
Ministry of Housing &Urban Development, will be lead by Abdullahi Gwarzo while Minister of Budget & Economic Planning now becomes Atiku Bagudu.
Minister of State, Environment and Ecological Management, Ishak Salako
Also, another shocking appointment was Minister of Federal Capital Territory, that was assigned to former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, making him the first southerner to hold the office again in more than 20 years. He’ll be joined Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Mairiga Mahmud.

Also, last minute nominee, Ibrahim Geidam was assigned to the Ministry of police affairs.

Minister of Steel Development, is Shuaibu Audu while his deputy, Minister of State, Steel Development, is U. Maigari Ahmadu
However, in a twist of fate, an officer most Nigerians thought was reserved for Mr Dele Alake which is the office of the Minister of Information and National Orientation, was assigned to Muhammed Idris.

One of the Youngest nominees, Bosun Tijuana will man the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
