Princess Oladunni Odu, Secretary to the State Government of Ondo State, has declared her interest to go into the contest for the state governorship seat.
The senior member of the state executive council and now first female contender made her declaration during a media chat with pressmen in the Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Akure.
Princess in her declaration emphasized on her preparedness for leadership, describing herself as the only candidate with adequate experience and requisite skills to lead the state after Akeredolu.
Deputy Governor of the state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa who is currently acting as governor in the absence of Akeredolu, is also allegedly interested in the no.1 seat in the state.
