The 16th edition of the Headies Award was held on Sunday in Atlanta Georgia for the second consecutive year.
The Headies is a music awards program created in 2006 by the Nigerian Hip Hop World Magazine to honor outstanding accomplishments in the country’s music sector.
Established and up-and-coming performers perform during the yearly celebration. HipTV is streaming it live for viewers all around Nigeria.
Through its award, which has grown to be the highest accolade in Nigerian music, the Headies has played a crucial role in documenting the advancements made in the country’s music industry since its establishment.
