“The Supreme Court fire is Sinister” – Tinubu’s former spokesman

Owing to the fire outbreak at the Supreme Court this morning, 25th of September 2023, Femi Fani-Kayode has described the fire as “ominous and sinister”

FFK who stood as spokesman to Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the presidential election campaigns may be implying that the sudden fire is suspicious.

FFK expressed this via a tweet today, hours after the occurrence of the fire.

where he posted:

Meanwhile, officials of the Supreme Court have debunked rumors that the fire may be connected to the Presidential election legal tussle ongoing.

However, the Supreme Court stands as the last resort for both candidates of the People’s Democratic Party and The Labour Party.

Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of the Labour Party have since appealed the judgement of the Tribunal at the Supreme Court.
It is however not known if the fire will delay the proceedings of the Apex Court.
