Popular Nigerian singer, Rema has finally addressed lengthy accusations and conspiracy theories linking him to the Illuminati, a secret group commonly associated with a variety of baseless and dramatic claims.
In an Instagram story post, the young singer firmly refuted any association with the Illuminati and reaffirmed his dedication to his music career from the start.
He asked his adoring fans, dubbed “Ravers,” to educate others about his background and heritage.
Rema emphasised the necessity of understanding his culture’s essential colours as well as the significance of things unique to Benin, his hometown.
Rema addressed the Illuminati rumours head on, calling them “trash” and emphasising the effort he puts into producing decent music.
He urged his fans to give credit where it is due, emphasizing that the creative process is a result of dedication and talent.
Rema wrote ; “Day 1 Ravers, help educate the new Ravers that I’ve been on this bat shit for a long time. Y’all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc.
“As I evolve, my execution will evolve unapologetically. Please know your artist. It’s why I do interviews. And that Illuminati talk is trash. I work too hard to create art for you guys to give the glory to some diabolical shit. Dead it now. Jesus is King.”
