Kenyan Chef, Maliha Mohammed broke down, shocking everyone when she set out on a record-breaking quest to complete the longest cooking marathon ever attempted.
Maliha Mohammed began the challenge on November 15 with the goal of breaking the current record, which stands at 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds. She has been carefully updating her followers on her progress.
While the pots were sizzling and she was working nonstop, it was stated that Maliha had an unplanned breakdown that briefly stopped the activity around the 111-hour mark.
Maliha was shown unconscious and receiving medical attention while being transported about on a stretcher in a video that she shared to her Instagram feed.
Even with the emergency setback, she was determined to carry on with the culinary marathon.
“I am a conqueror and a marathon runner. Nothing is bringing us down; to the finish line, we go,” she wrote.
